What is Skinoren?

Skinoren is a topical cream containing azelaic acid as its active ingredient. This versatile compound offers three key benefits for the skin, making it effective for treating acne, rosacea, and hyperpigmentation.

1. Fights Acne-Causing Bacteria
   Azelaic acid eliminates bacteria that contribute to acne. These bacteria thrive on the skin's natural oils (sebum) and cause inflammation in sebaceous glands, leading to pimples. By reducing sebum production, azelaic acid limits bacterial growth, alleviates inflammation, and helps clear acne.

2. Unclogs Pores
   Azelaic acid regulates the growth of keratin-containing skin cells on the surface. By preventing these cells from blocking pores, it helps reduce blackheads and whiteheads and keeps the skin clear.

3. Reduces Hyperpigmentation
   As a tyrosinase inhibitor, azelaic acid suppresses melanin production, making it effective in treating hyperpigmentation, including melasma, while also brightening the skin tone.

Azelaic Acid 20%, Benzoic acid (E210), Cetearyl octanoate + isopropyl myristate (PCL Liquid), Glycerol 85%, Propylene glycol, Purified water, Stearoyl macrogolglycerides, Glycerol monostearate 40-55, Cetostearyl alcohol

Use: 1-2 times a day

When applying Skinoren cream, a single dose of approximately 2.5 cm (about 1 inch or 0.5 g) is typically sufficient to cover the entire face. For other affected areas, adjust the amount based on the size of the area being treated.

Instructions for Use:

1. Apply Skinoren cream to the affected areas twice daily (morning and evening) after cleansing your skin.
2. If you have sensitive skin, start by applying the cream once daily in the evening during the first week of treatment to minimize irritation.
3. Avoid using Skinoren cream continuously for longer than 12 months.

For optimal results, it’s essential to use Skinoren cream regularly and consistently over several months. You should notice an improvement in your skin after about 4 weeks of treatment.

Directions: Apply thin amount onto affected area.
